Have a Hot Time Hades! (Myth-O-Mania) by Kate McMullan

Have a Hot Time Hades! by Kate Mcmullan is a hilarious book about Greek mythology. The story is told from Hades’s perspective which is absolutely hysterical. According to Hades, Zeus became Ruler of the Universe by cheating in a game of poker. Hades also makes it clear that Zeus isn’t all great and tough, so when Zeus writes a book about himself, Hades is absolutely irate that that is exactly what Zeus makes himself seem like. After reading the book, Hades decides that he has to speak out and make the truth heard, so Hades writes a book of his own.

Myth-O-Mania, meaning “liar” in this book, is one of the most comical Greek mythology series I have ever read. As well as being funny, Myth-O-Mania is also absolutely immersing, whenever I start reading one of these books I can never stop until I finish! Kate McMullan is very skilled at making new and entertaining versions of old, but wonderful, stories.
